Chad Baze
Senior Manager
Chad is a Senior Manager in Veritas with over 20 years of experience within the energy trading and risk management industry. He successfully traded and managed physical and financial books within natural gas and structured power deals. He has substantial project experience involving the set up of new trading operations, energy trading risk management (ETRM) software implementation, risk policy development, commercial and risk reporting, and business integration. Before Veritas, he served as the Director of Commodity Risk Management for a North American natural gas company. In that role and within consulting roles, Chad as delivered transformational change to energy organizations including asset valuation, merger & acquisition integration of front and mid offices, organization capability development, and ETRM solution implementations and upgrades including with OpenLink Endur.
Chad has earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University
